Ingleton,  Bank Holiday,  Friday 10th April 2009.

Just a little gathering to promote and to raise a little money towards Operation Ingleton Weekend, by ways of a tombola in the street. Allsorts, from a few sweets, to a bottle of Damson Gin, which eventually went late afternoon. We thought it would never go, did Elaine put the gin ticket in the box???

In uniform on the day were, Elaine, John, Roger and  Lawrence with new member, his grandson, from the Homeguard, (pictures on the members page), Keith and Sylvia as French resistance, Rupert as USAAF mechanic, Martin in his new smart Ike jacket (I would say that cos its me)..... The promised rain kept off, plenty of interest with the Bank Holiday public for this years Operation Homeguard.

The elusive Gin Bottle.                        Roger enjoying the day with Elaine's singing.....

The French Resistance appeared with Keith and Sylvia.         Spence and John looking menacing...
