Ingleton  Operation Homeguard 2007

Elaine and her merry band of Ovaltines,  doing a lovely dance routine in Ingleton town square.

The Sunday morning Church parade. The parade, with guard of honour, and military vehicle escort from the MVT,  made a spectacular sight, as it wound its way through the narrow streets of Ingleton.

The town was full of all sorts or re-enactors, Allied, Axis, and civilians. All made a brilliant period theme for the visitors.

All friends, ya, now ve have an ice cveam!

The Home guard guard of honor, as it passes through the village.

Again, all sorts of re-enactors , on high alert for any trouble.  Even some of the shops were in on the period weekend.

The South Cumbria and North Lancashire MVT were on hand with all sorts of vehicle, large and small.

Richard's Big MAC above, towered over everything.

One of the many jeeps, this one from Tim Hardy, Military Police Red Cap. (he is a policeman in real life)
